Jul. 20th, 2010 12:12 am[ With the PokéGear sitting on the ground beside Miria as she dips her toes in some currently nameless body of water, all that can be seen is her upper half—as well as the scenery behind her: a large lake with a bunch of trees surrounding it. ]
... Hey, Isaac, why do you think they call it the Lake of Rage? It seems pretty peaceful to me! [ And she tilts her head to glance off-screen, leaning back slightly to show one (1) Isaac Dian. ]
Hmm. [Isaac thoughtfully places a hand on his chin while walking around] That's a good question. Maybe this place has some dark secrets?
[He looks intrigued by this train of thought until he suddenly trips and falls down. The cries of a pokémon can be heard as well as Isaac sounding a bit distressed.]
I'm so sorry, little fella. I didn't see you there...
[His words are cut off at the sound of several angry growls coming from the water.]
[ And that's enough to catch Miria's attention as well, the young woman leaning forward to peer into the water rather than jumping out. ] Eh? What's that?
[ There's a bubbling of water and a large clump of shapes as they slowly seem to rise to the surface, and only then does Miria finally make the split-second decision to get to her feet, legs glistening wet in the sunlight as a group of at least five Totodile leap out of the water and Miria gasps. ]
Waaaah, Isaac! They look angry!
[Isaac scrambles to his feet, picking up an apparently crying Totodile as he does.] Uh, this was just a misunderstanding. I didn't mean any harm.
[The small group of totodiles seemed pretty much focused on the crying totodile in his arms and their growls grow more menacing. Isaac whisper/yells toward Miria.]
Maybe we should scram...
[ Miria doesn't even bother to grab her boots, since she knows that those would take too long to get on. Time that they, quite frankly, just don't have. ]
Y-yeah... [ She's nodding frantically and taking slow steps back... before breaking into a full-out run. ] Wh-where should we run to!?
[ Because Miria just plans on running in one big circle, apparently. ]
[Isaac's sense of direction is not much better as he just takes off running, while a small group of totodiles give chase.]
Anywhere but here!
[Mind you, he's still holding a crying totodile, while he flail runs in circles, opposite from Miria.]
[ If flashbulbs could appear above people's heads, one would be appearing above Miria's right about now as she points in... well, some random direction. ]
HOW ABOUT A TREE, ISAAC!? [ Since they happen to be surrounded by them, that seems to be the most logical thing to do. ]
I DON'T THINK CROCODILES CAN CLIMB!
GOOD IDEA!! [Isaac heads toward the trees, totodiles closing in, and as soon as he reaches the tree, he attempts to climb it with one hand, as he hasn't put down the crying totodile. Probably not his best move, since it pretty much leaves him wide open.]
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
[And that, ladies and gentlemen, would be the sound of Isaac screaming after being bit on the butt by one of those small raging totodiles. The crying totodile in his arms? Totally laughing now.]
[ ooc; isaac | miria!
